The Brave New World Order of the Mass Surveillance State

The really scary thing about the NBA racist-owner-controversy is that if a rich 80yr old white man can lose everything because of bad things he said in private that went public, then what kind of protection or safeguards against self incrimination does the average person have? None. The fact is fairly obvious that the public has become an extension of the Mass Surveillance State: it may not always be using electronic high-tech applications, but the end result amounts to the same thing. The racist comments of the current popular story are just the tip of the iceberg. The REAL story is hidden inside of it, the part about "leaking of secrets" and the public's ability to do "something" about it. It should be clear now that anything and everything said in private is fair game. Let's stop the hypocrisy and embrace the brave new world order. Let's stop whining about the NSA and admit to what we have become.
