We Live in a Sick World

We live in a sick world: the idea of privacy (or private property) is anti-social or at least UNsocial, even pathological or criminal -- “Privacy is Theft”; copyrights and artist’s royalties are overlooked and avoided as easily as clicking on a mouse and downloading files; advertisers use a likeness of you (or me) without permission or compensation to make themselves richer; non-living corporations are “persons” and living human beings are marketing commodities; obligations to pay debts, contractually binding upon a nation’s economy, have little or nothing to do with spending money that is borrowed from the future, from sources of revenue that doesn’t even exist.
