Read the Great Deformation

Instead of threatening Zimmerman with vigilante justice, maybe we should be angry at Washington’s response to a myriad of financial crises and fiscal cliffs. Maybe a grey hoodie isn’t as important as an eighty-year revisionist history of how the American state (i.e., the Federal Reserve) has embraced the politics of crony capitalism and the ideologies of fiscal stimulus, monetary central planning and financial bailouts. It’s Main Street that’s on the edge of political and fiscal collapse - not racism, self-defense, or screams on a cell phone. It’s Wall Street - not Sanford, Florida – that has become a casino swindling the many to enrich the few.
