No Protests Marches Over Texas Abortion Bill

This weekend, protesters angered by Zimmerman’s acquittal clashed with the LAPD and blocked traffic on a freeway and threw rocks and flashlight batteries at cops. Too bad all this anger and outrage with the verdict isn’t being focused on the repressive abortion laws passed in Texas on Friday. That’s a real injustice against the right of choice and freedom! It’s too bad public opinion against the GOP isn’t strong enough to force people onto the streets to bang drums, blow whistles and hold signs. But in Texas, a few protesters were heard chanting outside City Hall and some pro-choice protesters in the gallery were removed.
